Answer the following descriptive category questions in about 500 words each. Each question carries 20 marks.

Assignment Two

Answer the following short category questions in about 100 words each. Each question carries 5 marks.

5. Discuss sources of errors in social cognition.

6. Describe the Covariation Model by Kelley (1967, 1973).

7. Explain the bystander effect with the help of the five stage model.

PART II: Tutorial (1x30-30)

Q. Prepare an interview schedule to examine the cultural differences people experience when they shift to another city for work and how do they adjust. Collect your responses through interview survey on the following two groups:

1. Male (Age range: 20-35 years)

2. Female (Age range: 20-35 years)

On basis of the responses received, you have to write the activity in the following format:

1. You will prepare a handwritten file (of A4 sheets) with a brief introduction of the topic (as given) and a discussion on the responses and the trends received through interviewing the participants. You have to conclude the survey on basis of the facts and findings.

2. You need to enclose the filled in questionnaire (raw data) also in the file.

3. On basis of the selected topic, you need to prepare atleast 10-15 questions for the interview schedule.

4. A sample size of minimum 20 participants (10 from each of the above mentioned group) need to be included for the survey. Data may be collected through telephonic survey/digital survey/face to face mode, as per your convenience.

5. The file/notebook will indude the following subsections:

i) Introduction (of about 200 words)

Methodology (which will include the details about the sample size and the method of data collection in about 150 words)

Findings (of about 200 words)

iv) Conclusion and Suggestion of about 150 words)

3.चयनित विषय के आधार पर, आपको साक्षात्कार के लिए कम से कम 10-15 प्रश्न तैयार करने होंगे।

4. न्यूनतम 20 प्रतिभागियों (प्रत्येक आयु वर्ग में से 10 प्रतिभागी) का एक नमूना चयन करने की आवश्यकता है। डेटा एकत्रीकरण फोन सर्वेक्षण/डिजिटल सर्वेक्षण/आमने-सामने मोड के माध्यम से किया जा सकता है (सुविधानुसार)।
