marks.
SECTION- I
1. Critically examine the evolution of the idea of peace in the Indian tradition, from
scriptural teachings to the contributions of saints.
2. Analyse the relationship between social structures such as caste and religion and
the emergence of conflicts in India. How can these structures also contribute to
peace-building?
3. Discuss the role of economic disparities and marginalisation in generating
conflicts. Evaluate the Gandhian approach to addressing inequality in India.
4. Examine the various responses to conflict confrontation, negotiation, mediation,
and conciliation. Critically evaluate their effectiveness in resolving conflicts.
5. Analyse the nature, causes, and patterns of inter-state and intra-state conflicts in
India and Asia. Discuss the role of global and regional factors in shaping these
conflicts.
SECTION- II
Write a short note on each part of the following questions in about 250 words.

2 जाति और धर्म जैसी सामाजिक संरचनाओं और भारत में द्वंद्व के उद्गम के संबंध का विश्लेषण कीजिए।
3 द्वंद्व उद्भव में आर्थिक विषमताओं और हाशियाकरण (Marginalisation) की भूमिका की चर्चा कीजिए। भारत में असमानता को संबोधित करने में गांधीवादी दृष्टिकोण का मूल्यांकन कीजिए।
4 द्वंद्व के प्रति विभिन्न प्रतिक्रियाओं का परीक्षण कीजिए। द्वंद्व समाधान में उनके प्रभाव का आलोचनात्मक मूल्यांकन कीजिए।
5 भारत और एशिया में अंतरराज्यीय और द्वंद्व की प्रकृति, कारण और प्रारूपों का विश्लेषण कीजिए। वैश्विक और क्षेत्रीय कारकों का इन द्वंद्वों को दिशा देने में भूमिका की चर्चा कीजिए।
