Part A
Long Answer Questions:-

a) Discuss the roles and responsibilities of home care provider. Support your answer with suitable examples.
b) List the common conditions for providing home care.
c) Explain the skills required for effective communication to be adopted by home care provider.

During your experience, you might have come across patient suffering from problems related to digestive system.
a) Describe the various conditions affecting digestive system among your patients.
b) Compare the causes, sign and symptoms present in your patient with that of given in your block.
c) Explain the care which was provided to your patient.

a) Identify the conditions in which your patient requires skin care. Give brief details of affected persons. Evaluate the care given by you with the skin care mentioned in block.
b) Define pressure points and pressure sores. List its causes, sign and symptoms. Explain the measures you as home care provider would take to prevent pressure sores.

a) Explain the importance of exercises in health and sickness.
b) Enumerate the types of exercises. Discuss the points to be kept in mind while helping the patient during exercises. Draw and name the exercises for which you helped your patient.
c) Discuss your role as a home care provider to involve family members in taking care of sick individual. Explain the activities in which you were able to involve the family members while providing care to the patient.
