2 وتقوم أيضاً بإعداد المراسلات والمنشورات وغيرها من الوثائق التي تصدر دعما للاجتماعات.

3 - الترجمة التحريرية هي مرحلة واحدة من عدة مراحل تمر بها عملية إعداد الوثائق.

4- والترجمة التحريرية بالأمم المتحدة تكتنفها صعوبات خاصة لعدد من الأسباب.

- فلا بد لمن يضطلعون بالترجمة أن يتحروا أعلى معايير الجودة من حيث دقة النصوص المترجمة ومقروئيتها واعتمادها المصطلحات الصحيحة.

6 لقد كشفت جائحة كورونا عن مواضع الضعف في الأنظمة السياسية والاقتصادية والصحية في العالم.

-7- هناك تحديات وقضايا جسيمة تواجه العالم، وهي متنوعة، وأبرز هذه القضايا الفقر.

8- التغير المناخي أيضا يشكل خطرا على مستقبلنا على الكوكب الأرضي، ويحدث تغير المناخ بسبب التلوث البيئي الناجم عن الاحتباس الحراري.

9 هناك هجمات شرسة ومتزايدة على الأنظمة الإلكترونية، فالأمن السيبراني أيضا من إحدى القضايا الرئيسية التي تواجه البشرية.

يُحكى أن الأسد ملك الغابة وأقوى سكانها كان ذات يوم نائماً، عندما بدأ فأر صغير يعيش في الغابة نفسها بالركض حوله والقفز فوقه وإصدار أصوات مزعجة، مما أقلق نوم الأسد ودفعه للاستيقاظ، وعندما قام الأسد من نومه كان غاضباً، فوضع قبضته الضخمة فوق الفأر، وزمجر وفتح فمه ينوي ابتلاع الفأر الصغير بلقمة واحدة، صاح الفأر عندها بصوت يرتجف من الخوف راجياً أن يعفو الأسد عنه، وقال: سامحني هذه المرة، فقط هذه المرة ولا غيرها يا ملك الغابة، وأعدك ألا أعيد فعلتي هذه مجدداً، وألا أنسى معروفك معي، وكذلك أيها الأسد اللطيف، فمن يعلم ؟ فلربما أستطيع رد جميلك هذا يوماً ما، ضحك الأسد من قول الفأر، وتساءل ضاحكاً: أي معروف يمكن أن يقدمه فأر صغير مثلك لأسد عظيم مثلي؟ وكيف يمكنك مساعدتي وأنا الأسد ملك الغابة وأنت الفأر الصغير الضعيف؟"
