SECTION-I

1. Explain the distinct contributions of Sikhism and the Bhakti-Sufi movement to enrich Indian traditions of human thought.

2. Describe the freedoms provided in the chapter on fundamental rights.

3. What are the main structural obstacles that prevent minorities and indigenous peoples from thoroughly enjoying their human rights, and how effective have international and national mechanisms been in remedying discrimination, marginalisation, and violations of their culture, land and self-governance rights?

4. Discuss the role of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes in upholding human rights.

5. Critically analyse Gandhi's approach to social reforms, particularly in the removal of untouchability, the caste system, and the dignity of womanhood.

भाग — I

1. मानव चिंतन की भारतीय परंपराओं को समृद्ध करने में सिख धर्म तथा भक्ति-सूफी (Bhakti-Sufi) आंदोलन के विशिष्ट योगदानों की व्याख्या कीजिए।

2. मौलिक अधिकारों (Fundamental Rights) के अध्याय में प्रदान की गई स्वतंत्रताओं का वर्णन कीजिए।

3. वे प्रमुख संरचनात्मक बाधाएँ कौन-सी हैं जो अल्पसंख्यकों (minorities) तथा स्वदेशी/आदिवासी (indigenous) समुदायों को अपने मानवाधिकारों का पूर्ण रूप से उपभोग करने से रोकती हैं, तथा भेदभाव, हाशियाकरण (marginalization) तथा उनकी संस्कृति, भूमि और स्व-शासन के अधिकारों के उल्लंघनों के निवारण में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय और राष्ट्रीय प्रक्रियाएँ (mechanisms) कितने प्रभावी रहे हैं?

4. मानवाधिकारों के संरक्षण में अनुसूचित जातियों, अनुसूचित जनजातियों और पिछड़े वर्गों के लिए राष्ट्रीय आयोग (National Commission) की भूमिका पर चर्चा कीजिए।

5. सामाजिक सुधारों के संदर्भ में, विशेषतः अस्पृश्यता के उन्मूलन (removal of untouchability), जाति व्यवस्था (caste system) तथा नारी गरिमा (dignity of womanhood) के प्रश्न पर गांधी के दृष्टिकोण का समालोचनात्मक विश्लेषण कीजिए।
