1. Explain values through the integrated framework of the four human pursuits (Puruṣārthas: Dharma, Artha, Kāma, and Mokṣa) and the cosmic order (Ṛta).  Or Critically examine the concepts of Brahman, Ātman, Māyā, and Mokṣa, and contrast how Advaita, Viśhiṣṭādvaita, and Dvaita interpret the soul's relationship with reality. 
2. Explain the core ethical teachings of Buddha Darśana with special reference to the Middle Path (Madhyamā-Pratipadā) and the Five Moral Precepts (Panchaśīla).  Or Explain the core ethical principles of Jain Darśana with special reference to the Five Great Vows (Mahāvratas) and the doctrine of Anekāntavāda. 
3. Answer any two questions in about 250 words each. 
a) Explain the role of Dharma and Nishkama Karma according to the Bhagavad Gita.
b) How does the Preamble of the Indian Constitution serve as a source of core human values? Explain briefly with reference to any two values mentioned in it.
c) What is the role of Karma and moral responsibility according to Upaniṣadic Darśana?
d) Explain the role of equality and social justice according to the Bhakti and Sufi traditions.
4. Answer any four questions in about 150 words each.
a) Briefly explain the role of the three Guṇas (Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas) in Sāmkhya philosophy.
b) Describe how the character of Yudhishthira demonstrates the commitment to truth and righteousness (Dharma) in the Mahabharata
c) Explain Swami Vivekananda’s concept of "service to humanity" as a core human value.
d) Discuss the concept of pleasure as the highest good according to Lokāyata Darśana.
e) What is the tripartite structure of the Tirukkural, and how does it provide an integrated framework for ethical living?
f) How does Goswami Tulsidas define and connect the concepts of Bhakti (devotion) and Dharma (duty) as the pillars of a meaningful life?
