8. Explain the concept of sustainable development and assess India's policy responses to environmental challenges.

9. Examine the demographic and socio-economic consequences of over-urbanisation in Indian cities.

10. Write short notes on the following in about 250 words each:

a) Human Development Approach

b) Migration and informal labour in urban India

खंड - I (SECTION – I)

1. विकास की राजनीतिक दृष्टि से व्याख्या कीजिए। भारत में लोकतांत्रिक शासन व्यवस्था विकास की प्रक्रिया और परिणामों को किस प्रकार प्रभावित करती है, स्पष्ट कीजिए।

2. भारत में केंद्र-राज्य संबंधों की संस्थागत व्यवस्थाओं का मूल्यांकन कीजिए।

3. भारत में आर्थिक उदारीकरण के रोज़गार और असमानता पर प्रभावों की आलोचनात्मक

4. भारत में दलित आंदोलनों के विकास, उद्देश्यों तथा समकालीन प्रासंगिकता पर चर्चा कीजिए।

5. निम्नलिखित पर लगभग 250 शब्दों में संक्षिप्त टिप्पणी लिखिएः

a) उदारीकृत अर्थव्यवस्था में राज्य की बदलती भूमिका

6. राजनीतिक भागीदारी समावेशी विकास में किस प्रकार सहायक होती है? भारत में समकालीन प्रवृत्तियों की चर्चा कीजिए।

7. पहचान-आधारित क्षेत्रीयता के उभार तथा उसके राष्ट्रीय एकता पर प्रभाव का विश्लेषण कीजिए।

8. सतत विकास की संकल्पना को स्पष्ट कीजिए तथा पर्यावरणीय चुनौतियों के प्रति भारत के नीतिगत प्रतिक्रियाओं का मूल्यांकन कीजिए।

9. भारतीय नगरों में अत्यधिक नगरीकरण के जनसांख्यिकीय और सामाजिक-आर्थिक प्रभावों की विवेचना कीजिए।

10. निम्नलिखित पर लगभग 250 शब्दों में संक्षिप्त टिप्पणी लिखिए:
