SECTION-I

2. Analyse the evolution and impact of the peasant movements in colonial and post-colonial India.

3. Examine the theoretical contributions of the Resource Mobilisation and Relative Deprivation approaches to the study of social movements.

4. Discuss the nature and role of Dalit and backward class movements in shaping India's political discourse.

5. Write short notes on the following in about 250 words each:

a) New Social Movements and their characteristics

b) Identity politics and mobilisation in India

Section-II

6. How have women's movements in India evolved over time? Examine their influence on law and policy.

7. Analyse the objectives and achievements of environmental movements such as the Chipko and Narmada Bachao Andolan.

8. What role have tribal movements played in the politics of autonomy and resource rights in India?

9. Discuss the relationship between globalisation and farmers' movements in contemporary India.

10. Write short notes on the following in about 250 words each:

b) Role of civil society in social mobilisation

निर्देशः नीचे दिए गए दो खंडों (खंड-1 और खंड-2) में से कम से कम दो प्रश्न प्रत्येक खंड से चुनते हुए कुल पाँच प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक उत्तर लगभग 500 शब्दों में होना चाहिए। प्रत्येक प्रश्न 20 अंका का है।

खंड-I

सामाजिक आंदोलनों की परिभाषा दीजिए और लोकतांत्रिक राजनीति में उनके महत्व को समझाइए। भारत से उपयुक्त उदाहरण दीजिए। 1)

2) औपनिवेशिक और उत्तर-औपनिवेशिक भारत में किसान आंदोलनों के विकास और प्रभाव का विश्लेषण कीजिए।

3) सामाजिक आंदोलनों के अध्ययन हेतु 'संसाधन संचयन दृष्टिकोण' (Resource Mobilisation Approach) और 'सापेक्ष वंचना दृष्टिकोण' (Relative Deprivation Approach) के योगदान का विश्लेषण कीजिए।

4) भारतीय राजनीति में दलित और पिछड़ा वर्ग आंदोलनों की प्रकृति और उनके प्रभाव की विवेचना कीजिए।

5) निम्नलिखित पर लगभग 250 शब्दों में संक्षिप्त टिप्पणी लिखिएः

a) नए सामाजिक आंदोलनों (New Social Movements) और उनके विशेषताएँ

b) भारत में पहचान आधारित राजनीति और लामबंदी (mobilisation)

खंड-II

6) भारत में महिला आंदोलनों का क्रमिक विकास कैसे हुआ है? उनके द्वारा कानूनों और नीतियों पर डाले गए प्रभावों की चर्चा कीजिए।

7) पर्यावरण आंदोलनों जैसे चिपको आंदोलन और नर्मदा बचाओं आंदोलन के उद्देश्यों और उपलब्धियों का विश्लेषण कीजिए।

8) भारत में आदिवासी आंदोलनों की भूमिका को स्वायत्तता और संसाधन अधिकारों की राजनीति के संदर्भ में स्पष्ट कीजिए।

9) समकालीन भारत में वैश्वीकरण (Globalisation) और किसान आंदोलनों के बीच संबंधों पर चर्चा कीजिए।

10) निम्नलिखित पर लगभग 250 शब्दों में संक्षिप्त टिप्पणी लिखिएः
