1. संयुक्त राष्ट्र विकास कार्यक्रम (UNDP) द्वारा प्रतिपादित मानव विकास (Human Development) की अवधारणा को परिभाषित कीजिए। आर्थिक वृद्धि एवं मानव विकास के मध्य द्विदिशात्मक (Bidirectional) संबंध का आलोचनात्मक विश्लेषण कीजिए तथा स्पष्ट कीजिए कि आय में वृद्धि किस प्रकार मानव क्षमताओं के विस्तार में परिवर्तित होती है।
2. विकासशील अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में विद्यमान विभिन्न संरचनात्मक, आर्थिक एवं स्थानिक (Spatial) असमानताओं का वर्णन कीजिए। यह भी स्पष्ट कीजिए कि उच्च स्तर की असमानता किस प्रकार सतत आर्थिक विकास एवं सामाजिक एकता (Social Cohesion) में बाधा उत्पन्न करती है।
3. “स्वास्थ्य आर्थिक विकास का एक इनपुट भी है और उसका परिणाम भी।” इस कथन की व्याख्या कीजिए। भारत के स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में अवसंरचना, वित्तपोषण तथा समानता (Equity) से संबंधित प्रमुख प्रणालीगत चुनौतियों का समालोचनात्मक मूल्यांकन कीजिए।
4. आर्थिक विकास एवं रोजगार सृजन के इंजन के रूप में विनिर्माण (Manufacturing) क्षेत्र की भूमिका का मूल्यांकन कीजिए। नियामकीय अनुपालन (Regulatory Compliance), लॉजिस्टिक लागत तथा कौशल असंगति (Skill Mismatch) जैसी संरचनात्मक बाधाओं पर चर्चा कीजिए जो भारत की विनिर्माण प्रतिस्पर्धात्मकता में अवरोध उत्पन्न करती हैं।
5. भारत में सामाजिक-आर्थिक हाशियाकरण (Socio-economic Marginalization) को बनाए रखने वाले ऐतिहासिक एवं संरचनात्मक कारकों का परीक्षण कीजिए। वास्तविक समावेशी विकास प्राप्त करने के लिए आवश्यक संस्थागत, नीतिगत तथा सकारात्मक कार्रवाई (Affirmative Action) उपायों की एक समग्र रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत कीजिए।
